Poa labillardieri
An attractive, low maintenance, ornamental grass with a weeping habit, which grows to 120cm tall. The flower heads are like delicate plumes extended above the foliage in spring to summer. It tolerates most soils and can be planted around watercourses as a soil stabilisers or as low border planting. It also looks good in mass plantings or as a contrasting plant in gardens. It has many forms and colours, so it is particularly important to get the correct provenance for revegetation projects.
